Twistvine

This small tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for over 2,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 2769 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, twisting trunk covered in thick, waxy, light brown bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is light brown.

The sparse amount of branches are long and thin, with thousands of twigs covered with sparse amounts of miniature, lime green needles. The needles themselves are delicate.

In late summer it produces small, indigo berries.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
