Emerald Oasis

This enormous flower grows up to 12.3 feet (3.8 meters) tall. Its emerald stem is thick and straight, and the miniature, silver leaves are thick with tattered edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

6 to 10 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 133 cm (52.4 inches) wide, with petals that are indigo at the sides and lilac at the center. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. They detach easily.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like warm cookies, and it has lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
