Silverwood

This big shrub grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for around 59 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has dozens of branched, angular stems covered in thick, wrinkled, silver bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches are short stubs with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of giant, oval-shaped, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are either white, or dark grey with lilac patches, light and smooth.

It produces bunches of medium-sized, green flowers with slender, pointed petals. They detach easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like rainy days. In late winter it forms smallblack, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
