Emerald Heath Moss

This green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees, In heathlands, and In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.
