Vineclasp

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 24 feet (7.3 meters) and growing as high as 108 feet (32.9 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 2 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are soft and flexible.

The pleated, sticky leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are green and lilac, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of small faded green flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
