Golden Spineleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is yellow, and is covered in handfuls of rigid orange spines. The wavy-edged, very thin leaves are gold and bronze. Thick bunches of them grow from the base in alternating pairs. The leaves are flimsy, and take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid blue petals and a lilac central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of 20 raised, round-tipped petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like pepper.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the slate flesh is waxy, and the lime sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
