Copper Creeper

This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 186 feet (56.7 meters) and growing as high as 135 feet (41.1 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 5 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The crescent-shaped, soft leaves reach up to 2.9 feet (89 cm) in length. They are copper with white tips, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a handful of tiny turquoise flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a few large fruits.
