Silverneedle Tree

This small tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for over 1,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 1561 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in thick, smooth, black bark, and inside, the flexible wood is brown.

The excessive amount of branches are short, rigid and upright, with dozens of twigs covered with copious amounts of large, silver needles. The needles themselves are light.

In late summer it produces small, amber berries.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.
