Serpentvine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. Its florescent red and white stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 8 and are very thick and straight, and split into several branching stems at the base, and the large, lime green leaves are pleated with jagged edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Each stem splits 6 to 12 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 12 cm (4.7 inches) wide, with magenta petals that gradient shift to blue on the outer edge. The central disk is lime. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has the faintest scent that smells like honeysuckle, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

The sap is edible and very savoury.
