Clinging Crimsonfern

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 15 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous wide, twisting stems covered in waxy, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is burgundy.

The branches trail down towards the ground that and are covered with very large amounts of miniature, slender, pointed, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are crimson on the sides and deep yellow at the center, delicate and smooth.

It produces copious amounts of small, silver flowers with pleated petals. They are sturdy and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like garlic. In mid-summer it forms medium-sizedblood red berries.
