Violet Sickleflower

Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. Its brown stems grow in bunches of 3 and are thin and straight, and the tiny, orange-yellow leaves are sickle shaped with jagged edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

2 to 8 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide, with violet petals that gradient shift to dark grey on the outer edge. The central disk is azure. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like fermented fruit, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.

It is suitable for making paper
Offering it in a bouquet is supposed to bring good luck.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
