Coppergrass

This small, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in thin clumps that are flimsy and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, gold puff.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
