Orange Tuft Grass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This short, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thick clumps that are resistant and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, muted orange tuft.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
