Cyanthorn

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 27 feet (8.2 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is orange-yellow, and is dotted with small slate spines. It has a wavy, bulbous, beige trunk atop a very thick platform of rough, exposed roots. The branches are wide and moss green and trail down across the ground.

The smooth-edged, long, tapering leaves are cyan and light brown. They are resistant, and take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 11 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are red in the center, white in the middle and violet at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of 8 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like glue.

The caudiciform's skin is delicate, the black flesh is sticky, and the orange sap is thin.
