Spikegrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short, gold grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and tough and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, yellow spikelet.
During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
It is suitable for making strong rope
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
