Climbing Magentia

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This colossal vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,275 feet (693.4 meters) and growing as high as 698 feet (212.8 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 13 years for the bronze and vibrant red stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1.3 feet (38 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The long, tapering, rough leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are a shade of gold that gradient shifts to dull purple at the top, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of giant magenta flowers.

It can survive a very long time without water.
