Aquamaro Tree

This small tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 623 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, angular trunk covered in thick, waxy, dark brown bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is mahogany-coloured.

The sparse amount of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with copious amounts of clammy, giant, circular leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in cyan and bright blue varieties.

In late summer it forms tiny, black, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
