Creeping Lilacvine

This small creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 362 feet (110.3 meters).

It takes 4 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and gnarled.

The long, tapering, waxy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are lilac on the edges and beige at the center, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a handful of small orange flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of small fruits.
