Clinging Crimson?

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized fruit tree grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall and lives for up to 35 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 55 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, curved trunk covered in waxy, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is yellow-brown.

The small bunches of branches are very short and thin and are covered with small bunches of miniature, very thick leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are yellow at the bottom and hazel with cream patches at the top.

In early spring, it produces large amounts of small, crimson blossoms with long, tapering petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a delicate scent that smells like freshly baked bread.

In late summer it produces large, long, straight fruit. The sticky brown skin is tough and inedible, and the slightly crunchy gold flesh is salty and very juicy. The caramel seed is small and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
