Waterbloom

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of slender, straight stems covered in paper-thin, wrinkled, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, very thin, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are either orange, or crimson with cream dots, flimsy and smooth.

In early spring it produces dozens of small, olive flowers with circular petals. They are very delicate and have a delicate scent that smells like ashes.
