Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This modest-sized, lime grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, drab blue puff.
During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
The grains are bitter, but very healthy and are suitable for boiling.
