Coppervine

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 27 feet (8.2 meters) and growing as high as 810 feet (246.9 meters).

It takes 5 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The spear shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are found in lime, pink and brilliant purple varieties, and have smooth edges.
