Aqualily Tree

This huge tree grows up to 128 meters (420.0 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 237 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in very thick, rough, brown and grey bark, and inside, the light wood is white with black speckles.

The branches trail down across the ground and are covered with copious amounts of covered in fine hairs, giant, wide leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are either orange, or purple with cyan dots.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of large, hazel blossoms with spear shaped petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a strong scent that smells like perfume.

In late summer it forms large, red, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
