Violet Vine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.8 feet (53 cm) tall. Its green stem is very thick, and the miniature, brown leaves are black on the underside and are long, tapering with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

2 to 5 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 10 cm (3.9 inches) wide, with petals that are hazel on the edges and violet at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 54 petals. They fall easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like wet dog, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by a small species of bird.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
