Desert Lily

This giant flower grows up to 16.2 feet (4.9 meters) tall. Its light brown and moss green stems grow in bunches of 4 and are very thin and straight, and the miniature, dark brown leaves are wispy with wavy edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

A single large flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 83 cm (32.7 inches) wide, with purple petals and a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 39 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like cigarette smoke, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
