Ropevine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 40 feet (12.2 meters)0.

It takes 3 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The triangular, rough leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are either yellow or azure, with green patches, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a handful of tiny caramel flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of large fruits.
