Waterstem Shrubby

This giant shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 13 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has numerous long and flexible, wonky stems covered in knobbly, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.

The branches are short stubs with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of large, perforated, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are muted orange and cream, frail and crispy.

In mid-summer it produces handfuls of giant, beige flowers with asymmetrical petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a weak scent that smells like vomit.
