Sunfire Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In moorlands, and On trees.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very light.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores.
