Indigostem

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This short, indigo grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, turquoise puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.

It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It can survive a long time without water.
