Prickly Ivy

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters)0.

It takes 4 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The very narrow and elongated, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are slate at the bottom and dark brown with green edges at the top, and have irregular edges.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Ivy often grows along the trunk.
It commonly grows in large patches.
