Breadvine

This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is very thick, and the miniature, yellow-green leaves are black on the underside and are slender, pointed with wavy edges. 15 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Several medium-sized flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with dark brown petals and a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. They are hardy.

It has a weak scent that smells like freshly baked bread, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
