Fanblade Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This big cactus grows up to 98 feet (29.9 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 5 fan-like stems. Each stem is cyan, and is covered in thick sheets of fine, lime, hair-like spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 21 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are sky blue on the underside and silver on the top grows at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is largely flat with 43 widely spaced round-tipped petals. It has an intense scent that smells like fermented fruit.
The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the lilac flesh is slimy, and the grey sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
It is suitable for making strong rope
