Twistvine

This colossal shrub grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 143 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has dozens of thick, angular stems covered in paper-thin, knobbly, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is burgundy.

The branches trail down across the ground with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of huge, perforated, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of red that gradient shifts to bronze at the top, resilient and soft.

It produces balls of tiny, white flowers with slender, pointed petals. They fall easily and have a fairly strong scent that smells like musk. In mid-autumn it forms medium-sizedflorescent orange seed pods.
