Golden Flex Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in small clumps On rotten logs, In rainy mountain ranges, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is overwhelmingly flexible.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
