Silvervine

This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 9 feet (2.7 meters) and growing as high as 486 feet (148.1 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The very thin, fuzzy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are silver with crimson tips, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many bunches of average purple flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of large berries.
