Watergrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This big, emerald grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The spiral stalks grow in thin clumps that are delicate.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, cream tail.

During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

It can survive a long time without water.
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
