Silvervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters) and growing as high as 475 feet (144.8 meters).
It takes 16 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are soft and flexible.
The needle-like, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are gold at the bottom and silver with violet dots at the top, and have tattered edges.
During late spring, the bine produces handfuls of tiny caramel flowers.
