Aqua Lime Succulent

This short leaf succulent grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is turquoise, and is covered in hundreds of rigid hazel spines. The pointed leaves are azure and lime. Handfuls of them grow on wide, green branches that are long and slender. The leaves are frail, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 6 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are slate in the center, yellow in the middle and aquamarine at the edges grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 20 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight trumpet. It has a weak scent that smells like petrol.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the intense orange flesh is soft, and the cyan sap is thin.
