Violet Vinegrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large, brown grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thin clumps that are flimsy and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, violet puff.
During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
