Vineblood Rose
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large flower grows up to 6.8 feet (2.1 meters) tall. Its peach stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 8 and are very thick and straight, and split into many branching stems at the top, and the large, burgundy leaves are dark silver on the underside and are circular with ripped edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.
Each stem splits 6 to 12 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 12 cm (4.7 inches) wide, with petals that are cream in the center, brown in the middle and blood red at the edges. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. They fall easily.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like bleach, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
