Clinging Grass

This small, lime green or gentle purple grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thick clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, brown puff.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
