Waterstem Grass

This small, lime green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, lime tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
