Violet Vine

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 38 feet (11.6 meters)0.

It takes 2 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The needle-like, waxy leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are either washed-out yellow or violet, with slate lines, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of colossal blood red flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of tiny berries.
