Peachtail Grass

This short, moss green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 8 pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, peach tail.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.
