Willowbloom

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This short tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 617 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a branched, wonky trunk covered in delicate, knobbly, light gray bark, and inside, the very light wood is pale yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are short, thin and wispy and are covered with small amounts of covered in fine hairs, large, thin leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are found in gentle red, caramel and sky blue varieties.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, silver, shelled seeds.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.


It is often home to a particular bird species.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
