Spineberry Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This large cactus grows up to 89 feet (27.1 meters) tall. The wispy stem is lime green, and is dotted with small white spines. The spherical body is green, and is covered in sharp spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid peach petals decorated with cyan lines and a grey central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals in raised layers. It has the faintest scent that smells like cheap aftershave.

The cactus's skin is tough, the orange flesh is slimy, and the silver sap is thin.

It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
