Azure Spore Moss

This azure moss is commonly found blanketing large areas On trees, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely sturdy.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
