Clinging Firegrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, aquamarine tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
