Goldenleaf Tree

This enormous tree grows up to 130 meters (426.5 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 56 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a flexible, angular trunk covered in fine, waxy, light gray bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is dark brown.

The sparse amount of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with copious amounts of soft, small, spear shaped leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are gold and yellow.

In late summer it forms small, green, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
