Spineleaf Azure

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 53 feet (16.2 meters) tall. The thin stem is green, and is covered in large amounts of rigid green spines. The tattered-edged, thin leaves are grey and azure. Very large amounts of them grow from the base in tight-packed layers. The leaves are fairly frail, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either olive or crimson, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is made up of 9 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. It has an overpowering scent that smells like new carpet.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the white flesh is smooth, and the yellow sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
